The Larada 5 Bass, Abasi’s first headless bass, is crafted with a focus on comfort and playability. Its headless design, smooth curves, and deep-set neck position facilitate a seamless transition from standard range instruments. The aim was to incorporate the ergonomic benefits of the Larada platform into a bass, resulting in an instrument that excels in both functionality and aesthetics.

The 5-string bass combines a multi-scale fanned fret design with a scale length of 34″ to 37″, ensuring optimal string tension and easy playability. It offers excellent clarity and a strong fundamental tone, especially in lower tunings. Outfitted with Fishman Fluence multi-voice pickups, stainless steel frets, and individual string bridges, the bass delivers high performance and versatility. The set-neck construction, alongside an okoume body, a three-piece maple neck, and a maple fingerboard, creates a solid and resonant instrument. Each piece of wood is selected for its superior quality, weight, and resonance.

The Larada 5 Bass includes a push/pull pot for volume and coil splitting, a blend control, a 2-band EQ with separate treble and bass adjustments, and a 3-way mini toggle switch for easy voice selection. It also features a Fishman rechargeable battery pack, a Graph Tech nut, and a dual-sheen gloss/matte finish with a white binding line, giving it a sleek, polished look. The Larada 5 Bass is the ideal choice for bassists seeking a high-performance instrument that marries innovative design with exceptional playability.
