The first headless guitar lineup to come from an icon among guitar brands since the 1986 Axstar is here: The Quest or “Q Series” has arrived. The new headless guitars launched along with the headless signature model of Japanese guitar virtuoso Ichika Nito, the ICHI10.
The lineup consists of two 6-string models, the Q52 and Q54, and two 6-string models with slanted frets, as well as a 7-string which also features slanted frets. The scale length is 25.5″ on all five guitars— even the three with slanted frets due to the fact that the bridge and nut are parallel (in other words, they are not multiscale).
The Q52 has a Laser Blue Matte finish, nyatoh body, and roasted birdseye maple, bubinga neck and maple fretboard with a 12″ radius. The 24 frets are Jescar EVO gold frets. It features two Q58 (passive/ ceramic) humbucker pickups. The Q54 comes in a Black Flat and Sea Foam Green Matte finish. Its specs are the same as the Q52 except for the pickups, which are two (passive/ ceramic) R1 single-coil pickups and one Q58 (passive/ ceramic) humbucker pickup.
(Q52, Q54)
The QX52 has all the same features as the Q52 except for its angled frets and 20″ radius fretboard. And the QX54QM has the same specs as the Q54 except for its angled frets, 20″ radius fretboard, and its quilted maple top over the nyatoh body in a Blue Sphere Burst Matte finish.

Lastly, the 7-string QX527PB features a beautiful poplar burl top over a nyatoh body, roasted birdseye maple, bubinga neck and maple fretboard with a 20″ radius, 24 Jescar EVO gold frets, and two Q58-7 (passive/ ceramic) humbucker pickups.

This is not the first Ibanez headless. See the axstar series that had two headless guitars.
Yes, you are correct— noted! Thank you.
