Harley Benton Adds New Finishes and Improved Hardware to Headless Guitar Lineup

(June, 2021)

Harley Benton has added 4 new finishes to its headless lineup, Dullahan, which previously consisted of 3 models. The new finishes include an alder body in Daphne Blue and Shell Pink as well as a mahogany body in an eye-pleasing Purple Black Burst and Tiger Black Burst.

More than just new esthetics, these guitars feature new high-quality Apollo mono bridge rails which are sure to bring great tuning stability. The pickups are Roswell HAF Alnico humbuckers with a 5-way switch, allowing them to be split into single-coils.

The Daphne Blue and Shell Pink finishes come with a roasted maple neck and fretboard, while the Purple and Tiger Black Burst come with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard.

The fretboard, which has a radius of 13.78″, features 24 stainless steel jumbo frets with offset dots. The nut is a Graph Tech TUSQ XL, which is designed to keep the point of friction as low as possible.

If you’re on the market for a good-looking and playing headless guitar for under $500, the new Dullahan additions are certainly worth checking out.
